    Pacal’s father was Pakal Votan. Votan was one of the founders of Palaneque and was 80 years old when he died. Spanish priests had translated Pacal’s work and it claims that Pacal had traveled through the continent mass of Atlantis onward to the city of Babel where the tower of Babel was being constructed. He had seen the Phoenitians and Egyptians. I think the Mayan glyphs may have been inspired by the Egyptians hieroglyphs.
