    What a depressing narrator…. he’s describing how wonderful and amazing this tower will be, and what it can do for the city and the people of Birmingham, all in a voice so drab and uninspiring…. A great visual video spoiled!

    I’ll miss the old ATV/Central house. I can understand them demolishing the actual studio building, but why did they tear down the pointy-roofed canteen building? It was as deserving of listing as the Alpha Tower was. In fact, if it had been incorporated into the new development, it would have gave it more architectural continuity with the Alpha Tower, since they were interchangable. It was the only building of it’s style in the world. Greed before grace… Typical land developers, shame on them!
